Get the right size and get comfortable!

Probably the most important factor in determining the size you order is your personal taste. What kind of a fashion statement do you want to make? All our jackets fit loosely, and they are unisex, based on men's sizing — similar to the sizes for men's sweatshirts. Once you know your right size, the size we give for your jacket is for a comfortable, oversized fit. If you want a really big, baggy jacket, or if you expect to grow a good bit in the next couple years, get a size larger.

Do you need a special size?

In addition to our regular length for the sleeves and jacket body, you can order jackets in short, long, or extra-long lengths.

• Short: 2 inches shorter than the regular jacket in both sleeve and body length
• Long: 2 inches longer than the regular jacket in both sleeve and body length.
• Extra-Long: 3 inches longer than the regular jacket in both sleeve and body length.

If you have any other special sizing needs, just ask. There's a request-box in the sizes page of the design your jacket section where you can write in any special requests.

Still uncertain about size?

If you still are unsure about your correct size, you can take some consolation in the fact that men's sizes are more standard than women's. So to get a good guess at the right size, try on a similar style of men's jacket, and see what size you take. Try on several jackets in the size you think you want, to make sure they fit the way you want them to. You can also send us your height, weight, and chest measurement when you order, and we'll estimate your size based on that.

Remember that measurements shown are for the sweater, not the person. To determine the best fit, try on a TM Athletics sweater. Or compare the measurements on this chart to another sweater you already own. Make adjustments to measurements in your order as necessary. For instance, you can order a Size 38 Cardigan with a +2 inch sleeve length.
